With extensive review and feedback from our clients we develop a detailed Executive Search Profile for each position. The profile includes a description of the ideal candidate as well as identification of specific attributes our clients seek in candidates. By understanding the client's organization, culture and go-to market strategy we are able to assemble a profile of the targeted candidate
We research organizations where desired candidates may be found and solicit suggestions of possible candidates from knowledgeable industry resources. We also look to our clients for help in identifying specific companies where candidates can be sourced. Our goal is to seek out "passive" candidates who are gainfully employed as opposed to finding "active" job seekers.
Top candidates are interviewed using behavioral interviewing techniques. This step leads to a detailed and confidential report written for each candidate who is worthy of presentation to the client. The report covers critical items such as employement history and reasons for leaving, salary history, employment and education verification, salary history, and evaluation relavent to critical behaviors in the Executive Search Profile. We continue to work closely with our clients at this stage to refine the search and to identify labor market trends that affect the search.
Using our detailed candidate report, clients determine if an interview is warranted.We send targeted candidates who meet the search criteria, Our client's time invested with qualified candidates,not with mismatched candidates. Clients are not flooded with candidates simply testing the waters of the job market. Each candidate presented is qualified and interested in our client's opportunity. Otherwise the candidate is not presented. On average, we cull seven prospects for each submittlal. This equates to interviews with one to four highly qualified and motivated candidates.
Once the client selects the candidate, we conduct a detailed reference check. We speak to former bosses as well as peers and past clients. Each reference check is reviewed with the client. We then help them to close the candidate, including consulting with the candidate on dealing with counter offers or offers from other potential employers. Uncovering and mitigating candidate obstacles at this stage is critical to the successful completion of the search.
As the search ends, we often assist in structuring the compensation package. Our participation in this sensitive phase is often a key factor in the successful conclusion of the search.
After each search we periodically follow up with the candidate to ensure a smooth transition. We also assess our client's satisfaction with the search and make ourselves available to the client for future searches
